CANCELLATION POLICY
1. Introduction
At Nepal Tours and Travels, we aim to provide our customers with a smooth and transparent travel experience.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, modifications, and refunds are handled for bookings made through our website nepaltoursandtravels.com or via our official representatives.
By confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing by email at info@nepaltoursandtravels.com.
The following cancellation charges will apply (unless stated otherwise in your specific tour package):
More than 15 days before the travel date: 90% refund of the total booking amount.
7–14 days before the travel date: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Less than 7 days before the travel date: No refund applicable.
Please note: Cancellation timelines are calculated based on the date of departure mentioned in your booking confirmation.
3. Cancellation by Nepal Tours and Travels
In rare cases where we must cancel a tour due to unavoidable circumstances such as weather issues, strikes, natural disasters, or government restrictions, customers will be:
Offered an alternate date or similar tour package, or
Provided a full refund, excluding any non-refundable service fees (such as flight or hotel bookings already confirmed).
We will always try to provide the best possible alternative to avoid any inconvenience.
4. Modification or Postponement of Booking
If you wish to modify or postpone your travel dates, please inform us at least 7 days before your scheduled departure.
All changes are subject to availability and may attract additional costs depending on hotel or transport provider policies.
5. Refund Procedure
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after receiving your official cancellation request.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used during booking.
Delays caused by bank processing or payment gateways are beyond our control, but we will provide full assistance in tracking your refund.
6. Non-Refundable Services
Certain services are strictly non-refundable once booked, including:
Visa processing charges
Airline tickets or train bookings
Special festival or peak-season packages
Custom tours with non-refundable hotel bookings
Please review package details carefully before confirming your booking.
7. No Show Policy
If a traveler fails to arrive on the scheduled departure date without prior notice, the booking will be considered a “No Show”, and no refund will be provided.
In such cases, 100% of the booking amount will be retained.
8. Force Majeure Clause
Nepal Tours and Travels shall not be held liable for any cancellation or change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as:
Natural calamities (floods, landslides, earthquakes)
Political unrest or government restrictions
Flight or transport delays
Health emergencies or epidemics
In such situations, we will make every effort to assist and reschedule your booking when possible.
